Is my ATM/Check card a credit card?
No. It is an enhanced First National Bank ATM card that can be used for payment on purchases anywhere MasterCard® is accepted...just like a credit card is accepted... however, your purchases are being withdrawn from your First National Bank Checking Account.

Where can I use my ATM/Check Card?
You can use your new card anywhere MasterCard® credit cards are accepted; retail stores, restaurants, supermarkets, travel agencies, hotels, airlines, etc. In fact, your card can be used at millions of locations around the world*. In addition, since your ATM/Check Card is "an enhanced ATM Card", you can use it at any First National Bank ATM or thousands of others displaying PLUS®, PULSE®, NYCE® or MasterCard network logos.
*For security purposes your check card is sent to you with overseas capabilities disabled. If you will need to use your card outside the US, Canada or Mexico please contact FNB, we will be glad to enable your card for overseas transactions.

How do I use my ATM/Check Card?
When purchasing an item or service, it's as simple as using a credit card. When you make your purchase, you will sign a sales slip. The purchase amount will be withdrawn from the available funds in your First National Bank Checking Account. At an ATM, use your ATM/Check Card just as you would your ATM Card.

What are the benefits of using my new ATM/Check Card?
The conveniences are many. There's no need to carry your checkbook or to spend time writing checks. You won't need credit cards, identification or lots of cash. Your ATM/Check Card is all you need! It's a money saver too! There are no monthly or annual fees, no finance charges, no transaction fees other than at non-First National Bank ATM locations, and no credit card bills!

How do I keep track of my purchases?
You will receive a receipt with each ATM/Check Card purchase and ATM transaction. You should record each amount in your check register. All purchases and ATM transactions will be listed in your monthly Checking Account statement.

What if I what to return a purchase made with my ATM/Check Card?
No problem! It's just like you're returning merchandise purchased with a credit card. Just be sure to save your receipt in case you need to return an item. Your rights relating to funds and returned merchandise are the same as when you pay with cash or checks. You must resolve issues of this type directly with the merchant. It is the merchant's own policy on refunds and returns that govern these transactions.

What accounts can I access?
For ATM use, you will be able to access the checking and savings accounts you designated on your application. ATM/Check Card purchases will be withdrawn only from your First National Bank Checking Account.

What about fees?
There are no fees when you make MasterMoney™ purchases, or when you use your card for a point-of-sale purchase which requires entering your Personal Identification Number, or PIN, rather than signing a receipt. You can use you card with no charge at all at First National Bank ATMs. However, there may be a fee for any withdrawal or transfer made at a non-First National Bank ATM.

Can both my spouse and I have our own ATM/Check Cards?
Certainly, as long as each of you qualify, fill out, and sign an application.

What happens if my ATM/Check Card is lost or stolen?
Notify First National Bank immediately by calling (806) 659-5544 and asking for bookkeeping. If it is after hours you will be given a telephone menu option to select. We will stop the use of your card immediately and order you a new one. If you are prompt in notifying us your liability in most cases for the lost card will not exceed $50. For more detailed information, please refer to your Customer Agreement.

What should I do if I cannot remember my personal identification number, or if my card's magnetic stripe is damaged?
Simply stop by First National Bank or contact us by telephone during normal business hours. There are several ways to re-pin your card and the process is quick and easy. As a precaution, you should always be sure to replace your card in your wallet or protective case so that the magnetic stripe does not get marred or damaged.
