* * NOTICE * * : Available Balance Errors on Internet Banking

  Our Internet banking site has been experiencing intermittent problems with the available balances on savings accounts.  At times the available balance will display as zero.  When this occurs it can prevent you from making a balance transfer from your savings to another account.  If this occurs you must press the refresh button while you are on the transfer screen until the account shows the correct available balance.  You should then be able to complete the transfer.

Q.    Where do I find bill pay on the web site?

 A.  Once you have logged on to Internet banking select the “Online Services” button and then click on “Bill Payment”.

Q.    Why does nothing happen when I click on the bill pay link?

A.     The bill pay window utilizes the same type of window that many advertisers use for their pop-up advertisements.  If you have a pop-up blocker running it will also block the bill pay window.  You must turn off your pop-up blocker or add www.telepc.net to the allowed list in your pop-up blocker.

Q.    I turned off my pop-up blocker but it did not help, why?

A.     You have more than one pop-up blocker running on your computer.  Many tool bars such as Google and Yahoo and most Internet security applications such as Norton and Zone Alarm have built in pop-up blockers that turn themselves on automatically when you install them.  In addition, Microsoft’s Internet Explorer also has a pop-up blocker that is on by default.

Q.    How many pop-up blockers do I need to run?

A.     You only need one pop-up blocker running to prevent unwanted pop-ups.  Locate the options or configuration window for each blocker running on your computer and turn off all but the one you want to use.

Q.    What are the service charges for bill pay?

A.  Click on the link titled “Bill Pay Terms” at the top of this page.  It will take you to the explanation of the service charges for online bill pay.

Q.    Why is one of my accounts not listed in bill pay?

A.  When you register for bill pay online only the first six accounts listed on Internet banking are brought over to the accounts tab.  This will include any related accounts that belong to a different tax ID number that we have been authorized to link to your account.  If you need accounts added or dropped on the bill pay accounts tab please contact us and we will be glad to assist you.
